Ofcom brings Tesco investigation to an end

Ofcom has ceased its investigation of Tesco Telecoms reportedly misselling fixed line business solutions to customers, however, it will continue to monitor Tesco for the next six months, looking out for any signs of misselling to customers.

During its 15 month investigation, Ofcom discovered several operational flaws in Tesco's telecommunications services. The office of communications were first made aware of the situation following many complaints by customers who accused the corporation of misselling.

Ofcom's study concluded that Tesco had generally resolved its problems and the company only experiences a small number of complaints relating to misselling.
